Electronic music producers/DJ’s THE CRYSTAL METHOD (Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland) will appear with legendary singer Martha Reeves of The Vandellas tomorrow, Wednesday, March 14 on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” They’ll perform “I’m Not Leaving,” one of the five songs created in RE:GENERATION MUSIC PROJECT, the music documentary feature produced by Hyundai in association with The GRAMMYs®. The film and project examines the history of different music through the eyes of five of the most influential electronic producer/DJ’s in music today.
The “RE:GENERATIONMUSIC PROJECT,” an official selection of the SXSW 2012 Film Festival happening in Austin, TX this week, is also nowexclusively available on the free, ad-supported Hulu and the Hulu Plus subscription service. In the film, The Crystal Method with Martha Reeves and The Funk Brothers and other acclaimed producersDJ Premier, Pretty Lights, Mark Ronson and Skrillex use technology to mix musical styles and genres for the creation of five original tracks that are nothing short of magical. The film will be featured as Hulu’s “Documentary of the Month” during March and April, and will available on the premium online video service through March 2014. Hyundai served as the benefactor of “RE:GENERATION MUSIC PROJECT,” in association with The GRAMMY®s, as a joint commitment to celebrate innovation in music.
