THE BANGKOK FIVE

CONFIRMED FOR CANADIAN TOUR DATES WITH THE CULT

AND VANS WARPED TOUR WEST COAST SHOWS

            Following three performances during SXSW in Austin, Texas, THE BANGKOK FIVE--currently supporting their WHO’S GONNA TAKE US ALIVE? debut full-length CD on Execution Style Entertainment/Universal Records--will join The Cult on the road for a leg of Canadian tour dates this month.  First they’ll perform at Spaceland in Los Angeles May 12.  Then, later this summer, the Hollywood, CA-based band will perform at select West Coast dates on the Vans Warped Tour, including the Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco and Ventura shows. 

            THE BANGKOK FIVE--which Revolver Magazine picked as "one more band you should know about" (June 2006)--are excited to hit the road with The Cult and commented: “The purity of The Cult is their ability to throb and pulsate.  The Bangkok Five's swaggered frenzy is getting today’s emo kids to finally stop kissing and start fucking.  Two bands, one mantra! Dig?  This combo hasn't made more sense since The Cult/GNR tour.”

Armed with deep reverence for their D.I.Y. predecessors and a willingness to embrace current technologies, THE BANGKOK FIVE--Frost (vocals), Holcomb Ks.
