GET FRONT ROW SEATS TO ‘CHAOS,’ ALANIS-STYLE
StubHub.com Teams with Alanis Morissette for “Au Naturale” Tour,
Charity
Ticket Auctions to Benefit Equality Now
Alanis
Morissette
and StubHub.com are partnering yet again for a series of charity ticket auctions
for the singer, songwriter and musician’s upcoming co-headlining “Au
Naturale” tour with the Barenaked Ladies.
Effective immediately, Alanis’ fans in cities across the country can
bid on packages that include two front-row concert tickets, and the incredible
opportunity to meet Alanis in-person. The
tour begins July 13th at Blossom Music Center in Cleveland, OH.
The auction can be accessed through www.StubHub.com
or www.alanis.com.
Proceeds from the ticket auctions will benefit Equality Now, an
international organization working for the human rights of women and girls.
StubHub.com
hosted a series of successful charity auctions for Alanis’ North American Tour
and CD Premiere Party in 2002, which benefited Equality Now as well.
By working directly with artists and their management, StubHub.com is
able to provide fans unprecedented access to great tickets and special
experiences.
"We
are thrilled to work with Alanis Morissette again," said Eric Baker,
President of StubHub.com. "StubHub
experiences have helped raise millions of dollars for charity, and we are proud
to bring awareness and funds to Equality Now."

Equality
Now was founded in 1992 to work for the protection and promotion of the human
rights of women around the world. Working with national human rights
organizations and individual activists, Equality Now documents violence and
discrimination against women and adds an international action overlay to support
their efforts to advance equality rights and defend individual women who are
suffering abuse. Through its Women’s Action Network, Equality Now distributes
information about these human rights violations to concerned groups and
individuals around the world, along with recommended actions for publicizing and
protesting them. The Women’s Action Network is committed to voicing a
worldwide call for justice and equality for women. Issues of urgent concern to
Equality Now include rape, domestic violence, reproductive rights, trafficking
of women, female genital mutilation, and equal access to economic opportunity
and political participation. On the
