GUITARIST GARY ROSSINGTON TAKING ADDITIONAL TIME OFF

AT HIS NEUROLOGIST’S REQUEST

LYNYRD SKYNYRD will now commence their “VICIOUS CYCLE” tour September 16 in Trenton, NJ after the band’s founding lead guitarist GARY ROSSINGTON rests under doctor’s orders.

ROSSINGTON--who underwent a successful open-heart surgery in late February--was originally advised to take some additional time off before returning to the road after it was discovered that he suffered a mild seizure. ROSSINGTON’s neurologist will monitor him over the next five weeks, as there is some artery blockage.

LYNYRD SKYNYRD, who were forced to cancel the remainder of their “Party of a Lifetime” co-headlining tour dates with Sammy Hagar, will cancel their own “VICIOUS CYCLE” tour dates through September 13 to accommodate ROSSINGTON’s recovery.

For those fans wanting ticket refunds, please contact venue box offices for details. It is anticipated that LYNYRD SKYNYRD will make scheduled performances at a later date in these cities.
