SOiL TO PERFORM "HALO"
WITH ZAKK WYLDE AT JULY 17 BOSTON OZZFEST;
SONG WILL BE RECORDED FOR AN UPCOMING LIVE ALBUM

SOiL will be joined onstage by Ozzy Osbourne/Black Label Society guitarist Zakk Wylde for a special performance of their Top 20 Active Rock debut single "Halo" on the July 17 Boston Ozzfest. The live performance of the song will also be recorded for use on an upcoming live album.

This special collaboration stems from SOiL's appearance on last winter's Merry Mayhem Tour, where they shared a bill with Zakk, Ozzy Osbourne and Rob Zombie on a string of dates.

SOiL's success story continues to build as their J Records' debut album SCARS has soared to nearly 200,000 copies in sales and the band continue to play to full houses across the U.S. After tours with Adema, Sevendust and Static X earlier this year, SOiL--vocalist RYAN McCOMBS, bassist TIM KING, drummer TOM SCHOFIELD and guitarists ADAM ZADEL and SHAUN GLASS--hold a coveted spot on the second stage during the first leg of Ozzfest '02 this summer, which runs through August 8.

In addition, the band's two breakthrough songs at rock radio--"Halo" and "Unreal"--are now followed by "Breakin' Me Down," which is impacting active rock radio and appeared in the trailer for the Vin Diesel film Triple XXX.
