SPLENDER SET FOR "TONIGHT SHOW" DEBUT: Look for SPLENDER to make their late-night television debut on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno Monday, June 26 when they perform "I Think God Can Explain," the latest hit single from their C2/Columbia debut album HALFWAY DOWN THE SKY. Next week, the song is bulleted on the key Billboard charts-"I Think God Can Explain" is #11 on the "Adult Contemporary" chart, #13 on the "Adult Top 40" chart, #25 on the "Top 40" chart and #62 on the "Hot 100 Singles" chart --while the Todd Rundgren-produced album is holding steady at #20 on the "Heatseekers" album chart. Meantime, the Chris Applebaum-directed video for the single is currently in rotation on VH1. In touring news, the band will finish up a round of performances at radio station festivals across the country before launching their ampthitheatre trek with Third Eye Blind and Vertical Horizon, which will keep SPLENDER on the road until the end of July.
