Caroline Romano is a singer/songwriter from
Mississippi and is widely considered in the industry as one of the brightest
young up and coming artists of the last few years. At just the young age of
fourteen, she has already accomplished feats only achieved by major stars such
as sharing the stage with breakout headlining pop and country stars Daya
("Hide Away", "Sit Still, Look Pretty"), Jacob Whitesides,
Shawn Mendes (“Stitches”), Kelsea Ballerini (“Dibs”, “Love Me Like You Mean
It”, “Peter Pan”), Frankie Ballard (“Helluva Life”), Chris Janson (“Buy Me A
Boat”) and has performed at countless fairs and festival including a coveted
spot at the Mississippi State Fair, the world famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville
Tennessee, the Delta Fair & Music Festival in Memphis and the 24th Annual
Crawfish Music Festival.
In 2015, Caroline caught the attention of hit
songwriter and multiplatinum selling record producer Steve Freeman. He
instantly saw her talents as a songwriter and a performer and signed her to his
development label VVM out of Nashville and Los Angeles. In February of 2016,
the Steve and Caroline began collaborating on the debut EP entitled
“Hashtag”, which is available now everywhere digital music is sold and
available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and Pandora.
The first single from her debut EP, “Inside”,
was sent to radio in late June of 2016 and in less than 4 weeks had debuted at
#26 on the International Pop Chart. In the United States, her video for the
title track “Hashtag”, released in July of 2016 is currently airing on several
networks including AXSTv, being seen in over 100 million households.
Caroline is busy traveling back and forth
between her home in Mississippi and Nashville and Los Angeles writing and
recording her first full length album, which is due in stores Spring of 2017,
as well as preparing for the 2016/2017 touring season.
