AT NOKIA THEATRE L.A. LIVE TUESDAY, MARCH 11

The MOODY BLUES have been musical mainstays on concert stages, recordings and the airwaves for over 30 years. Their remarkable consistency has generated the sale of over 55 million albums and created a standard for classic rock music, which has brought them numerous awards throughout the world. On Tuesday, March 11, 2008, this classic British band will perform at the new NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on their major U.S. spring tour. Tickets go on sale Monday, December 3 at 10:00 AM Pacific.
NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE–Los Angeles’ new state-of-the-art 7100-seat venue located across the street from STAPLES Center–opened October 18, 2007 with six sold-out concerts starring the Eagles and Dixie Chicks. The venue is destined to become the preferred indoor venue for performers and fans alike, offering guests mid-sized intimacy, with no seat further from the stage than 220 feet, exceptional comfort and amenities never before experienced by guests at similar theatres. NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE hosted the “American Music Awards” on Sunday, November 18 (ABC-TV), marking the first time the venue–built by AEG–has been utilized for a national awards show broadcast.
NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE is the centerpiece of L.A. LIVE, a 4 million sq. ft./$2.5 billion downtown Los Angeles Sports, residential and entertainment district adjacent to STAPLES Center and the Los Angeles Convention Center that is currently being developed.
