ANJUNABEATS has delivered a lineup for fans that highlight both veterans of the label to rising stars and the next generation of artists–all established by support fromANJUNA fans and industry alike. ANDREW BAYER leads the pack having worked with the label for nearly a decade. BAYER-whose DJ sound brings widescreen cinematics and musical integrity to the biggest rooms around–has released on both ANJUNABEATS and ANJUNADEEP in his label career, produced some of the biggest ANJUNABEATS anthems of recent years, and co-produced Above & Beyond albums Group Therapy and We Are All We Need. The DJ, producer and musicianis in the works to release his highly anticipated third album; check out his latest single “Celestial” here.
ILAN BLUESTONE is the newest star on the label. In the last 12 months, the London-based producer has continued to dominate the Beatport Trance charts, with dancefloor anthem “43” taking his tally of top spots up to #9 and his Snapdragon EPreaching #1 in the overall releases chart. Hisupcoming release “Bigger Than Love” is set to be one of ILAN’s most massive hits to date. Collaborating with vocalistGiuseppe de Luca, the pair has created what is sure to be a peak time anthem both in clubs and among electronic music’s biggest festivals around the globe. Listen to the track on Spotify here.
“Can’t wait to do some new anthem tests!,” says ILAN. “I’ll have had over a month off from heavy touring by the time this Anjunabeats tour starts, almost all of which will be spent in the studio. So I’m extremely excited to play out some brand new tunes. I’m really looking forward to seeing my American fans, it’s been an absolute pleasure touring there over the last year and a half and I can’t wait to be back.”
“I’m really looking forward to this North America tour. After months in the studio working on new music, it’s great to finally test them out!,” adds ROSS. “It’s truly an honor to represent a label I’ve looked up to for quite a while now. Andrew Bayer and Ilan Bluestone are two artists that have greatly influenced myself and my work; so to get to travel and to tour with them is a special honor. For me, this is only the beginning, and I’m looking forward to getting out and sharing my music with the world. I’m truly passionate in what I do, and look forward to showing that to the Anjuna faithful.”
The next generation of ANJUNABEATS performers slated on the line-up, JASON ROSS and GRUM provide some high expectations for the label’s future. JASON ROSS is one of dance music’s great young talents, recently highlighted by Above & Beyond as their breakthrough artist of the year, as well as being named an Artist to Watch in 2015 by renowned electronic music blogs like LessThan3 and YourEDM. ROSShas released a sequence of galvanizing tunes on the label, including “Elements,”“Cairo” and his collaboration with Wrechski, “Atlas.“ The balance of powerful emotion and electrifying energy created in his productions is proving to be a perfect yin and yang, earning him the “future face of trance” crown by EDC creators Insomniac. Listen to the first installment of JASON‘s new quarterly mix series Fall 2015 Mix here, and his “Fly To New York” Club Mix–which ROSS created in a rare collaboration with Above & Beyond.
Having made his Anjunabeats debut earlier this year with the Trine EP, GRUM has quickly become a favourite of Anjuna fans worldwide thanks to his modern take on classic progressive and trance influences. GRUM-who DJ Mag recently featured noting he has “the magic touch”- has previously had the honor of producing his first ever Radio 1 Essential Mix, remixing the likes of Sigma, Martin Garrix, Gareth Emery and Above & Beyond, to name a few. Listen to GRUM‘s latest track “Something About You/ First Contact” here.
Originally founded by Above & Beyond to house their own releases, ANJUNABEATShas developed one of the strongest–and most dedicated–fan bases in dance music. Roundly respected for favoring quality over quantity, the A&R hotbed has been responsible for breaking renowned artists like Arty, Audien, Seven Lions and Mat Zo–the latter even receiving a Grammy-nomination for his ANJUNABEATS album,Damage Control.
