FINAL THREE U.S. SHOWS SET FOR NOVEMBER
PERFORMANCES MARK LAST-EVER
STATESIDE PERFORMANCES OF BAND’S CAREER
THE END is upon us.
Late last year, BLACK SABBATH—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler–announced their farewell world tour, “The End.” And now almost a year later, the band will perform the final U.S. shows in their historic five decade long career.

The three final shows on the Live Nation-produced tour–November 8 at BOK Center in Tulsa, OK, November 10 at Toyota Center in Houston, TX and November 12 at AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX–wrap up nearly a year of headlining performances and the band’s special one-off gig at this year’s OZZFEST (Saturday, September 24 at the OZZFEST MEETS KNOTFEST double-header music and lifestyle weekend).
Following the U.S. shows, the greatest Metal Band of All Time will head to Mexico and then South America where they’ll wrap up their 2016 dates before performing the last shows of their career, back where it all started in England. The lastleg of THE END tour will start with a January 17 show in Cologne, Germany before the band returns to the U.K. Those shows launch January 20, 2017 at the 3 Arena in Dublin before hitting arenas in Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds and London (with two nights at The O2), culminating with two performances in their Birmingham hometown at the Genting Arena. The dates are below.
When this tour concludes, it will truly be THE END, THE END of one of most legendary bands in Rock ‘n Roll history…BLACK SABBATH.
Here’s some critical feedback from BLACK SABBATH‘s summer 2016 tour:
“…it was a best-case concert scenario that highlighted the massive place in musical culture the band has occupied for the better part of five decades…a flawless show…Black Sabbath reminded the audience why it’s long been the most influential force in heavy music.”
–Sean Maloney, BOSTON GLOBE, 8-26-16
“It was exactly the show it needed to be: classics-driven, majestically played, and climactic…The show had the kind of momentous mojo you never forget.”
–Lina Lecaro, LA WEEKLY, 9-20-16
“Kicking off the frenetic two-hour set…are a well-oiled machine.”

–Gary Graff, THE OAKLAND PRESS, 8-31-16
“…their songs continued to ring out as powerfully as ever…This may have been ‘The End’ of Black Sabbath, but not the music itself. Never that.”

“…the Sabbath train is rolling with plenty of power.”
–Dave Lindquist, INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 9-3-16
“Sabbath continues to rock with such bone-crushing ferocity that every budding young hard rock fan deserves at least once chance to see the masters onstage.”
–Thor Christensen, DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 9-8-16
“If the intention going into this farewell tour was, as Ozzy Osbourne says, to ‘finish on a high note,’ this is what that high note sounds like.”
–Ed Masley,ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 9-22-16
“Sabbath stayed huge to the end–and in their own way, that’s why they will never truly die.”
–Taylor Frantum, DALLAS OBSERVER, 9-8-16

“If the current tour really is ‘The End’ for Black Sabbath, as the jaunt has been dubbed, the legendary British band is going out on a high note..”

“The enduring talent and popularity of heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath are such that the mood at their professed final-ever performance in Utah was one of joyous celebration.”
