DAVE STEWART–singer, songwriter and co-founder of Eurythmics–will be performing at The Troubadour in Los Angeles on Monday, October 3 (doors at 7:30 PM) for the latest installment of his special, anything-goes show billed as DAVE STEWART AND FRIENDS. These gigs–at which STEWART performs gems from his classic repertoire–have become a Los Angeles tradition, with surprise esteemed guest musicians and artists. The Troubadour show will be marked by a very special guest appearance from JON STEVENS, the powerful, raspy vocalist and songwriter who will release a solo album early next year (title, label and release date TBA) that was produced and co-written by DAVE STEWART. STEVENS’ decorated career encompasses a record-smashing debut at age 16 with two consecutive No. 1singles in his New Zealand homeland, huge hits in Australia as lead singer with Noiseworks, a 21st-century liftoff to worldwide acclaim at center stage with INXS and an iTunes featured release with his band, The Dead Daisies, whose debut single featured the legendary Slash on guitar.
