Los Angeles, CA (May 26, 2011) – deadmau5, together with Talenthouse, the leading platform for creative collaboration, today announce their partnership inviting artists and fans from around the world to design the next official mau5head.
The selected design will be produced into the next deadmau5 head for deadmau5's signature 'Unhooked' shows and promotional events. Photographs of the winning mau5head will be featured on deadmau5's official website along with details about the winner.
The winner will receive two VIP passes to a deadmau5 performance in Los Angelesand will meet deadmau5 at an in-store event in Los Angeles in August 2011. Travel and two nights' accommodation for the winner plus a guest will be provided.
Starting May 26, 2011 through July 12, 2011, entrants visit www.talenthouse.com to submit their mau5head designs. From July 13-19, 2011 fans and participants are able to vote on their favorite submissions. The Grand-Prize winner and runners-up will be announced on August 3, 2011. The five highest voted submissions will each receivetwo VIP passes to a deadmau5 performance nearest to their location. A further five highest voted submissions will receive official signed deadmau5 merchandise.
