The headline jaunt commences September 15 at Beta in Denver, CO, storms through major markets across the country and comes to a close November 12 with a bang at Webster Hall in NYC. Support comes from the likes of D.R.A.M., E-40, iLoveMakonnen, AC Slater, Felix Da Housecat, Drezo, Hotel Garuda, Ganz, Josh Pan, Vindata, Dateless and Sita Abellan on select dates. The tour-curated by DESTRUCTO (aka Gary Richards), known as probably the most innovative curators of music festivals in world today–appropriately sets the stage for the renowned producer, artist, DJ and founder of HARD Events to unleash his latest offering on his HITS HARD label this fall. The lead single “Catching Plays,” a collaboration with one of Australia’s finest Wax Motif, features Pusha T and Starrah and drops August 12 at all digital retailers. Merging eerie, ominous keys and a glitch-y beat, Pusha T flows with uncontainable fire just before Starrah‘s woozy and wild hook entwines with the build, only to crash on a climactic drop. DESTRUCTO once again makes confident plays for electronic music evolution.
“Catching Plays” is the follow up to “4Real” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and iLoveMakonnen, DESTRUCTO‘s most successful track to date with nearly five million streams on Spotify and its music video logging almost one million views on YouTube. His uncompromising approach to music spurned the creation of g-house, a new unique hip-hop and house hybrid currently spreading like wild fire around the world. His first major label release, 2014’s West Coast EP, featured rap heavyweights such as YG, Ty Dolla $ign, Problem, Too $hort, Warren G and Kurupt.
