EVERCLEAR’S ART ALEXAKIS
CONFIRMED FOR O’REILLY FACTOR INTERVIEW
TUESDAY, AUGUST 8 TO DISCUSS CONTROVERSIAL ‘HATER’ VIDEO
As EVERCLEAR’s “Hater” video continues to spread across the Internet, frontman ART ALEXAKIS has confirmed a toe-to-toe interview with Bill O’Reilly on Fox News’ popular “O’Reilly Factor” on Tuesday, August 8 (8:00pm ET/5:00pm PT) to discuss the video’s controversial content. Featuring a fictional “Hater Jesus” character, the first version of the band’s “Hater” video incorporates a sinfully comic twist to portray those who hate in the name of religion.
The first single from EVERCLEAR’s forthcoming album WELCOME TO THE DRAMA CLUB, out September 12 on Eleven Seven Music, “Hater” now has a new, second video circulating around the web. Befitting the tune’s growing reputation as the ultimate break-up song, this lighthearted video takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the headline-grabbing deterioration of celebrity relationships and features “cameos” of some of Hollywood’s most famous and recent broken-hearted.
WELCOME TO THE DRAMA CLUB is undeniably EVERCLEAR, with searing autobiographical songs matched with music born from both the punk and classic rock eras.
