FLEETWOOD MAC IS BACK:
NEW ALBUM ‘SAY YOU WILL’ DUE OUT APRIL 15;
40-CITY U.S. TOUR KICKING OFF MAY 7 IN COLUMBUS, OHIO
In tandem with the April 15 release of their eagerly anticipated new studio album SAY YOU WILL on Reprise Records, FLEETWOOD MAC will kick-off a 40-city arena tour May 7th in Columbus, Ohio. The trek, nationally promoted by Concerts West, an AEG Live Company, will visit major US cities including Washington DC, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, New York, Atlanta, Ft. Lauderdale, Detroit and Los Angeles.
The tour features Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and FLEETWOOD MAC founding members Mick Fleetwood and John McVie performing songs from their world class catalog of hits as well as from the SAY YOU WILL album, which features the newly released single “Peacekeeper.”
FLEETWOOD MAC made music history with the release of such era-defining albums as Fleetwood Mac, Rumours and Tusk. The 1997 live album The Dance burned up the charts, selling over five million copies in the U.S. alone. Fleetwood Mac’s catalog smash hits–from “Don’t Stop” to “Rhiannon” to “Go Your Own Way” to “Landslide” (currently a Top 10 hit for the Dixie Chicks) and beyond–constitutes a soundtrack for our times. As fresh and original today as when they first defined the rock & roll idiom, it is that same creative chemistry that continues with Say You Will, their first studio album with Lindsey Buckingham since 1987’s multi-platinum Tango In The Night.
