TO DEBUT REVAMPED FALL CLOTHING LINE OCTOBER 1
WITH NEW CUSTOM GARMENTS
GLAMOUR KILLS–the edgy independent lifestyle brand that bridges the gap between music and fashion–will debut their fall line and newly revamped brand October 1. With the fall line, founder and designer Mark Capicotto continues to push the boundaries in an effort to bring original, progressive ideas to art, fashion and music.
The fall line includes four long-sleeved plaid button-up shirts which will be the first of many custom garments to come. Says Mark: “With this new line, we wanted to bring in a sense of seriousness, but still hold onto our ‘off the beaten path’ vibe. You'll notice the use of color is still very much a big part of what we design, but it’s more concentrated rather than spread out.” While developing new items, GLAMOUR KILLS will also continue to team with bands to create personalized t-shirt lines, with the current All Time Low and JAGK (with ATL’s Jack Barakat) lines expanding.
GLAMOUR KILLS’ t-shirts, hoodies, bathing suits and denim combine a rock n’ roll edge with a chic modernism to outfit everyone from the punk rocker to the club hopper. The aesthetic is fashionable, but still underground. It’s palatable, but still edgy. It’s vibrant, but subtle. It’s the future of youth lifestyle brands.
“The brand is more than just a clothing company,” says Capicotto. “I want people to recognize us as a movement–like the Hulkamania of fashion! It’s not just t-shirts; it’s a lifestyle that we want to be reflective of.”
