Following their performance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE–who celebrate their #1 spot on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart today– return to Los Angeles for a special engagement at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. Live on Monday, June 23. Tickets are on sale now.
The Seattle-based band is currently on tour in support of their new album Narrow Stairs (Atlantic Records), hailed by Rolling Stone’s Will Hermes (in a 4-out-of-5 rated review) as “…a dark, strangely compelling record.” The first single “I Will Possess Your Heart”—which hit #1 at AAA and #7 at Modern Rock radio formats–can be heard on KROQ and Indie 103.1 in Los Angeles. DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE will have appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman” May 13 and coming up on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” May 22.
