INFESTING THE GRAMMYS: PAPA ROACH are starting the new year on a high note with two Grammy Award nominations. In addition to being up for “Best New Artist,” their video for “Broken Home” (directed by Marcos Siega) is also nominated in the “Best Short Form Music Video” category. “Broken Home” is the second video and single off PAPA ROACH‘s triple platinum DreamWorks debut album INFEST, which follows the #1 Billboard Modern Rock hit single and MTV staple “Last Resort.” The band–COBY DICK (vocals), JERRY HORTON (guitar), TOBIN ESPERANCE (bass) and DAVID BUCKNER (drums)-will not be able to attend the February 21 ceremony as they’ll be in the midst of a headlining European tour, but the excitement of being nominated won’t be lost. “It’s something that I never expected and I feel honored just to be nominated,” says COBY. “If we win I’ll have to be close to a toilet because I might shit my pants!”DAVID adds, “2000 has been an unbelievable year for us, and to start off 2001 like this is beyond anything that I ever imagined would happen to us. Not bad for a garage band from Vacaville, CA.” PAPA ROACH will return to the U.S. in March with their “Raid The Nation Tour.”

These headlining dates will feature Alien Ant Farm–PAPA ROACH‘s first signing to their New Noize label imprint through DreamWorks Records–as well as Orgy.
