KORN TAPE MTV "UNPLUGGED"
WITH SPECIAL GUESTS THE CURE
AND EVANESCENCE’S AMY LEE;
DRUMMER DAVID SILVERIA TO TAKE BREAK
KORN made history this past weekend by taping a performance for MTV’s acclaimed UNPLUGGED series. The band was joined by special guests The Cure and Evanescence’s Amy Lee, representing three generations of rock. This special performance will air in early 2007. Stay tuned for more details about KORN’s MTV UNPLUGGED special.
In other KORN news, as the group plans for one of their busiest years, it’s been decided that drummer DAVID SILVERIA will be taking a temporary hiatus from KORN. “I just need a break for right now,” said SILVERIA.
In the meantime, JONATHAN, FIELDY, and MUNKY will continue to move forward with the recording of their new record (tentatively set for release in June 2007) and look forward to another successful run of the Family Values Tour next summer.
