PAPA ROACH
FORCED TO CANCEL REMAINING “RAID THE NATION” TOUR DATES
DUE TO DRUMMER DAVID BUCKNER’S AGGRAVATED WRIST CONDITION
BAND TO PROCEED WITH EUROPEAN FESTIVAL DATES AND OZZFEST
PAPA ROACH have been forced to cancel the second leg of their in-progress headlining “Raid The Nation” tour due to an aggravated condition in the left wrist of drummer DAVID BUCKNER. The situation has worsened due to the band’s rigorous touring schedule. PAPA ROACH will head home after their April 22 show in Toronto, ONT for a brief break to allow BUCKNER time to rest on the advice of his doctors. Says BUCKNER, “It’s unfortunate that this had to happen. This is a huge disappointment for us–and I’m sure for our brothers in Alien Ant Farm and Fear Factory–and no doubt to our fans. This condition is something that I’ve been struggling with since last year and I hope to have this diagnosed, treated and be back to one hundred percent before Ozzfest.” PAPA ROACH—COBY DICK (vocals), JERRY HORTON (guitar), TOBIN ESPERANCE (bass) and BUCKNER (drums)-are still scheduled to play the May 12 and May 19 radio shows in Las Vegas, NV and Chicago, IL. The band and BUCKNER remain confident of the drummer’s full return for the upcoming European festival dates starting May 25, as well the band’s mainstage slot on this year’s Ozzfest.
