TO UNVEIL NEW HOT SAUCE:
“MANGO PEACH TANGO” TO ROCK TASTEBUDS NATIONWIDE;
PARTY SET FOR THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11 IN BOSTON
AEROSMITH guitarist JOE PERRY is unveiling his latest hot sauce “Mango Peach Tango” with a special tasting party Thursday, November 11 at Jake’s Dixie Roadhouse near Boston. PERRY will be on hand to present the second sauce in his “Rock Your World” line, which debuted early this year with “Boneyard Brew.”
“Mango Peach Tango” is made with fresh habanero peppers, tropical mangos, juicy peaches, onions, garlic, lime juice, red bell peppers and aged red wine vinegar. PERRY says, “I'm often asked how and why I got into the hot sauce business. Well, I’ve been a fan of spicy food since I was a kid. My grandfather turned me on to ground chile peppers and I like a wide variety of spiced-up things. Over the years, hot sauce has been one more thing to make life more exciting. I found myself always mixing hot sauce together to get the right blend.”
“Mango Peach Tango”-flavored dishes on the menu for the November 11 event include pan-seared and glazed scallops; chicken and cheese flautas; “Rockin’ Rangoons-Crab and Mango Peach Tango Cheese;” rubbed and grilled shrimp; “Rock & Rolled Chicken stuffed with pancetta and blue cheese; and pork loin.
JOE PERRY’s “Boneyard Brew” has received coverage in Bon Appetit magazine as well as on the Food Network shows “Emeril Live” and “Food Finds.” Check out www.joeperrysrockyourworld.com for recipes and ordering information.
