The acclaimed Beatles concert RAIN: A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES will make its Broadway debut this fall with a limited 12-week run of performances at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street). A special preview performance will begin Tuesday, October 19. The official opening will commence Tuesday, October 26 at 6:30 PM and run through Sunday, January 9, 2011. RAIN is set for a national trek in 2011.
RAIN: A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES marks the first time The Beatles’ music has been licensed on Broadway. While for the past 45 years the music of The Beatles has touched millions of people around the world, the Fab Four were experienced live in concert by very few. The group’s final concert tour of 1966 was long before the release of the legendary Sgt. Pepper, The White Album and Abbey Road albums. RAIN brings The Beatles’ incredible songs to a whole new audience of music lovers.
In a show the Los Angeles Times calls “A two-hour homage to pop music’s most brilliant gem!” and the Denver Post hailed as “The next best thing to seeing The Beatles!” RAIN encompasses the full range of The Beatles’ discography live onstage. From the group’s early days on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964 through Sgt. Pepper and onto Abbey Road, RAIN highlights the unforgettable songs in the iconic group’s career, some of which have never been performed in a live concert setting. RAIN features “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “Hard Days Night,” “Yesterday,” “Twist and Shout,” “With A Little Help From My Friends” and many more; see the full set list below.
Check out the partial set list for RAIN: A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES as follows:

Throughout RAIN, the music is first and foremost. All of the music is performed live before the audience, and the concert–fused with historical footage and hilarious television commercials–is the ultimate multi-media time capsule. For more than two decades, RAIN has separated itself from the pack of tribute performances by focusing on the details, always being faithful to The Beatles with the ultimate goal of delivering a perfect note-for-note performance. RAIN tackles The Beatles music and legend with the same respect a classical musician approaches Mozart and his works.
RAIN: A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES is presented on Broadway by Annerin Productions, Magic Arts & Entertainment/Tix Productions and Nederlander Presentations, Inc.
