JIMMY PAGE AND THE BLACK CROWES
FORCED TO CANCEL REMAINDER OF U.S. TOUR,
AS WELL AS THEIR U.K. AND EUROPEAN DATES,
DUE TO PAGE'S CONTINUED BACK PROBLEMS
JIMMY PAGE AND THE BLACK CROWES have been forced to cancel the upcoming leg of their North American tour-set for September 15-October 7-as a result of PAGE's continued back problems. PAGE has been ordered to have complete rest for the next six weeks, at which point he will be reassessed by his consultant, with surgery as a possibility.
PAGE wants to express his great disappointment and distress over letting his fans down as well as THE BLACK CROWES. THE BLACK CROWES send their sincere wishes to PAGE for a healthy recovery and hope fans will understand. Tickets for the canceled shows will be refunded at the point of purchase. This news follows the August 25 announcement by JIMMY PAGE AND THE BLACK CROWES that they were rescheduling three of the eight U.S. shows they were forced to cancel on the second leg of the tour because of PAGE's back injury.
In canceling the remainder of their U.S. tour–as well as their previously announced U.K. and European tour, slated for a November 12 launch–PAGE AND THE BLACK CROWES are unable to co-headline with The Who at Madison Square Garden in New York October 3, 4, 6 and 7. These concerts were to have marked the end of the U.S. dates.
It is possible, if PAGE's recovery permits, that he and THE BLACK CROWES will reschedule shows in New York and perform in Japan in December.
