EXPANDS LA’S SUNSET STRIP MUSIC EXPERIENCE WITH TWO ADDITIONAL NIGHTS OF SHOWCASES
Hollywood, CA’s VIPER ROOM expands its presence in Austin during SXSW this March beyond two previously announced nights of showcases. On Wednesday, March 14 and Saturday, March 17 Rocco Deluca and The Burden, Bloodcat Love, Nico Vega, Reeve Carney and Will Dailey join the diverse roster of the club’s most prominent acts (Valient Thorr, The Ringers, Oliver Future, Dirty Sweet) who already scheduled to play at the Viper’s Austin home, Apple Bar (120 W. 5th St., Austin—corner of 5th and Congress) on Thursday, March 15 and Friday, March 16.
Performing at the Wednesday, March 14 show—in collaboration with the Bands Under The Radar podcast series–are: Rocco Deluca and the Burden, a true blues rock outfit; Reeve Carney & The Revolving Band, fronted by Reeve Carney, a 22-year old burgeoning songwriter often called “LA’s best kept secret”; The Daylights, a new LA trio whose trademark Brit-inspired giant melodies sink in for days; and Will Dailey, who recently won the Boston Music Award for "Best Singer/Songwriter" and is signed to CBS Records.
The four nights of THE VIPER ROOM in Austin–entirely sponsored by Monster Energy Drink and BC Ethic–wrap up Saturday, March 17 with Hollywood's Bloodcat Love (known for their guts and dirty subterranean kicks), the hard-riffing Nico Vega; Pink Spiders, Rolling Stone's 'Breaking…” find who were signed out of the Viper Room; and The Stock Market Crash, whose dark melodies are reminiscent of The Cure.
