THIS ONE GOES OUT TO THE LADIES: NOISE THERAPY have started a tradition at their live shows. Every night during the middle of the band’s set, they announce a special “ladies only” mosh pit for the group’s song “*69 (Wait For Nothing),” from their Redline Entertainment debut album TENSION. Bassist ROB THIESSEN explains: “I noticed that a lot of bands say ‘This one goes out to all the ladies,’ so I thought we should do something a little different. We tried to get the all the ladies to do a pit and it went over, so now we do it every night. We’ve made a few rules: no kicking, biting or clawing, but mostly we just have fun with it.” NOISE THERAPY–DAVE OTTOSON (vocals), BOBBY JAMES (drums), KAI(guitar), THIESSEN (bass) and JAMES F (keyboards)–are in the midst of a U.S. tour with Otep and E-Town Concrete, with select dates also featuring Ill Nino. They’re currently planning another major U.S. tour for early 2003. Meanwhile, the group’s first single “Get Up” is impacting rock radio and was #2 Most Added at Active Rock in its first week of release. Catch NOISE THERAPY on the road in the following cities:
