As UNDEROATH wraps their final U.S. tour of 2009 and looks ahead to another overseas tour in 2010, the band’s acclaimed album LOST IN THE SOUND OF SEPARATION (Tooth & Nail/Solid State) has received a Grammy nomination for “Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package.”
The double-disc special edition of LOST IN THE SOUND OF SEPARATION is a cloth-bound box set with two ten-inch colored heavy-gram saw blade die-cut vinyls, the LOST IN THE SOUND OF SEPARATION CD, the DVD, a 56-page cloth covered/bound book wrapped in a 4” belly band. UNDEROATH was previously nominated for a Grammy in 2007 for “Best Short Form Video” for the song “Writing On The Walls” from their Define The Great Line (Tooth & Nail/Solid State) album.
2010 will see UNDEROATH head back overseas for the fourth time since the release of LOST IN THE SOUND SEPARATION. In January, they’ll perform at the Parachute Festival in New Zealand, followed by a month-long European trek beginning in March in London and wrapping in Italy.
UNDEROATH–whose last three albums have combined sales in excess of one million copies–released their fourth album LOST IN THE SOUND OF SEPARATION on Seattle indie Tooth & Nail/Solid State in 2008. The disc marked the top rock debut for the week and entered the Billboard Top 200 Album chart at #8, #1 on the Top Christian albums chart and #5 on the Top Digital albums chart, with over 9,476 digital downloads sold in its first week alone.
