Death Cab for Cutie, Wyclef Jean, Panic at the Disco, Joss Stone, Dashboard Confessional and Erykah Badu join the previously announced headliners–R.E.M., Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots–for this year’s VOODOO EXPERIENCE October 24, 25 and 26 in New Orleans’ historic and scenic City Park.
More than 90 acts (see full line-up below) will highlight a milestone for the event–its Tenth Ritual–marking a celebration of 10 years of music as well as New Orleans’ bohemian culture, arts and cuisine.
Beyond the traditional sets, this year's VOODOO EXPERIENCE will include a series of celebratory performances including: a special gospel brunch featuring the historic collaboration of vocal legends The Blind Boys of Alabama and the ageless music of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Sharing the stage for the first time ever as they carry their proud musical traditions on into the future, two of America's great cultural ambassadors bring together the joy of Gospel with the soul of New Orleans; internationally acclaimed DJ and producer King Britt's tribute to painter, singer, and self-proclaimed "bride of Christ" Sister Gertrude Morgan–whose visually explosive folk art is celebrated on the museum circuit world-wide.
The acts will appear in the VOODOO EXPERIENCE’s three distinct performance areas–Le Ritual, LeFlambeau and Le Carnival–on six stages each of which highlights a unique side of the personality of New Orleans.

New Orleans’ signature fall music event will again take place in the City Park locale set amidst lush lagoons, bayous, one of the largest collections of mature oak trees in the world–all in the shadow of the New Orleans Museum of Art and just minutes from the historic French Quarter and Central Business District.
In 1999, the VOODOO MUSIC EXPERIENCE launched as an alternative to the music festivals that had come before it. Its purpose: a celebration of music to attract fans of all ages from places near and far. Throughout the years, the VOODOO EXPERIENCE has brought together a collection of talent that has bridged the social, economic and generation gaps by creating a unique music event with a commitment to every genre of music while at the same time celebrating the music of the region.
Tickets are available via www.thetenthritual.com and Ticketmaster and www.ticketmaster.com. All tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. General admission tickets at $115 for weekend passes will be available beginning Monday, June 23. In addition, LOA VIP Experience passes are offered for $450 which includes 3 day admission with in/out privileges, grandstand viewing of the main stage, reserved parking, full bar services, exclusive New Orleans cuisine, private bathrooms, a Tenth Ritual poster autographed by the artist, exclusive experiences and more.
