The VOODOO EXPERIENCE continues its objective of merging technology and art to redefine the live festival experience with the release of the Voodoo I-cubes. The long awaited daily artist schedule reflects the format that audiences are viewing and consuming information at festivals via their mobile devices. The Voodoo I-cubes will be supported by two free apps, which will debut in the coming weeks.
Meantime, for those who can’t commit to a full weekend of music–featuring a wide-ranging line-up of talent that reflect the myriad of cultures that define this extraordinary and beloved American city–a limited number of $75.00 single day tickets will be available beginning Friday, October 2.
The line-up for this VOODOO EXPERIENCE encompasses more than 100 acts including headlining performances from Eminem, in his first full performance in over four years and only scheduled concert of 2009; KISS, one of the most influential and successful rock and roll bands of all-time; the reunited Jane’s Addiction, with all of the original members for their last scheduled U.S. date in 2009; and Widespread Panic, who’ll perform as part their annual Halloween tradition (1997-2002) of live shows in the city; and Lenny Kravitz, who will close out the weekend’s musical melting pot.
The full day-by-day schedule (as of October 2) for the 2009 VOODOO EXPERIENCE can be found at http://thevoodooexperience.com/2009/schedule.php.
The 2009 VOODOO EXPERIENCE also features a comprehensive ticket price whereby festival producers will absorb all ticket surcharges saving attendees approximately 15% on each purchase. A limited number of single day tickets are available as of Friday, October 2 for $75.00; three-day weekend tickets are now $180.00, ALL IN with no additional fees; LOA Lounge VIP passes are $500.00, ALL IN with no additional fees and are available via Ticketmaster.com (www.ticketmaster.com) and the www.thevoodooexperience.com.
