Watch as the Nashville recording artist mixes acoustic, country and electric sounds with soulful vocals to create her signature sound. Music has always been a major influence in Cole’s life with piano in her repertoire since age five. Cole began singing in High School after teammates and coaches convinced her to perform National Anthems before student games. Word spread, and Cole was invited to perform before sold-out crowds of up to 75,000 fans at major sporting events in her native Houston, TX including the Texans, Astros, Dynamo and Rodeos. Shortly after, Cole began writing songs and picked-up guitar, completely immersed herself in the Texas country music scene. After playing at legendary venues like Gruene Hall and Dosey Doe, Cole opened for Earl Thomas Conley, 10,000 Maniacs, Tab Benoit, Cory Morrow and Jimmy Webb, and performed before Bruno Mars, Blake Shelton, and Luke Bryan concerts during the Houston Rodeo.
Now, this twenty-two year old, volleyball-player and graduate from Nashville’s Vanderbilt University is collaborating with countless renowned songwriters and producers, including Chuck Cannon and Lari White. Julia Cole is making music that is about to change the game. After opening for acts such as Hunter Hayes, Kane Brown, Chris Lane, Clare Dunn, Brooke EdenandJon Langston, expect to hear a lot more from this rising country star.
