BAND RETURNS TO STUDIO TO START WORK
ON FOLLOW-UP TO THEIR PLATINUM `NIMROD' ALBUM
Contrary to previous reports, GREEN DAY are not confirmed to perform a week's worth of dates with the Rolling Stones in February.
As of last week, GREEN DAY were confirmed to take part in the tour, but at the last minute decided to return to the studio to start work on the follow-up to their current platinum and critically acclaimed NIMROD album. They're in the process of writing new songs, and hope to start recording within the next few months.
