BARI LIEBERMAN
PROMOTED TO TOUR PRESS DIRECTOR
AT THE MITCH SCHNEIDER ORGANIZATION (MSO)
BARI LIEBERMAN has been promoted to the position of Tour Press Director of the Mitch Schneider Organization (MSO) effective immediately, announced the company’s President, Mitch Schneider.
LIEBERMAN began at MSO in July 2006 as an executive assistant, working with Senior Vice President Marcee Rondan and was soon promoted to Tour Publicist in February 2007. In her role as Tour Publicist, she has handled regional press campaigns for a wide range of MSO artists and festivals including her current roster featuring Bedouin Soundclash, Bob Schneider, Erika Jayne, Iration, Ozzy Osbourne, Smashing Pumpkins, Underoath, Unwritten Law, Vans Warped Tour, and Yanni. Previous tours she has handled include the Allman Brothers Band, Aerosmith, As I Lay Dying, Black Gold, Blackberry Smoke, Blazed & Confused Tour featuring Slightly Stoopid and Snoop Dogg, Bob Weir & Ratdog, Chiodos, Dan Black, The Dead, Essence Music Festival, Erasure, Fair to Midland, Ferry Corsten, Gregg Allman, Helmet, Kaskade, Lilith ’10, Mae, Megadeth, Norma Jean, Paul Oakenfold, Pepper, PiL, Rock the Bells, Scorpions, Ted Nugent, The Black Crowes, Truth & Salvage Co. and the West Beach Music & Arts Festival.
"Bari has done a killer job of handling tour and regional press for our clients," says Schneider. "Drive, passion, and organizational prowess–these are her defining elements. And although Bari is based in Los Angeles, she has no real time zone like the touring bands she handles–for her, the beat goes on unrelentingly around the clock. It doesn't hurt either that Bari knows her music–and she makes some damned good mix CDs. This promotion is really well earned."
Born and raised in New Jersey, Bari originally ventured west to attend Indiana University – Bloomington where she graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism specializing in public relations. Soon after, she decided to make the move all the way west to Los Angeles to combine her education with her passion for music. LIEBERMAN looks forward to continuing to grow at MSO and to keep spreading the word regionally about all the company’s great artists.
