ELAN MAKES PLANS FOR SUMMER WITH WEST COAST DATES AND
SLOT ON THE ONE LOVE FESTIVAL REGGAE TOUR
IN SUPPORT OF HIS SINGLE “GIRL” AND DEBUT ALBUM FOR INTERSCOPE ‘TOGETHER AS ONE’
Nothing says summertime better than a sizzling reggae jam. That’s why Kingsbury Studios/Interscope artist ELAN will hit the road this season to support his new radio single “Girl” featuring Assassin. ELAN’s tour itinerary commences with a number of select west coast dates with the B-Side Players in July including stops in San Luis Obispo , San Francisco , Santa Cruz and San Diego .
In August ELAN will appear at the 23rd Annual Reggae On The River celebration. Rolling into September, he’ll join reggae greats Buju Banton, Capleton, Gregory Isaacs, Cocoa Tea and Assassin on the One Love Festival tour. The 14-date tour will hit various major markets on the eastern seaboard including Ft. Lauderdale , Atlanta , Charlotte , Raleigh , Boston and Providence .
Executive Produced by Tony Kanal (No Doubt), Together As One was released June 13 as the first offering from his Kingsbury Studios imprint through Interscope Records. Guests range from Gwen Stefani–who performs a duet with Elan on a new song called “Allnighter”–and Tami Chynn to producers Kanal, Sly & Robbie, Fatis, DJ legend Cutty Ranks and more. Prior to signing with Kingsbury, Elan toured the world for three years as the singer for the Wailers and has performed with Carlos Santana and India.Arie.
While on tour, he’ll perform “Girl” plus various songs off Together As One including “I Wanna Yell” as heard on Los Angeles ’ Indie 103.1 FM, “Nothing Is Worth Losing You” and the album’s title track.
