ANNOUNCES U.S. SUMMER TOUR WITH YOUNG LOVE AS SUPPORT ACT
ERASURE released their album LIGHT AT THE END OF THE WORLD (Mute) on May 22 to high critical acclaim. Returning to the electronic roots that propelled them to sales of more than 20 million records through the past two decades, the iconic British duo of Andy Bell and Vince Clarke have marked their continuing relevance by ranking #2 on Billboard’s Electronic Album chart and #1 on the Billboard Dance Music Singles chart with “I Could Fall In Love With You.”
Meanwhile, Erasure have tapped New York City rocker Young Love (aka Dan Keyes) for the support slot of their “Light At The End Of The World” tour, which kicks off July 6 in Tampa, FL immediately following their co-headlining appearances on the True Color tour in June. Keyes will join the tour beginning with the July 21 Anaheim date.
The solo tour will feature the kind of costumed, multi-screen, full-production extravaganza the duo is known and loved for. The set is expected included all the classic hits and much of the new album.

Here’s what the press is saying about Light At The End Of The World:
"…group's striking rebound… they've gotten a bold new charge."
“This is signature Erasure, and fans will find it pure delight… Of course, Erasure being Erasure, melodies and pop hooks reign throughout.”
“Erasure reclaims the dance-floor anthem on Light at the End of the World (Mute)…Though Andy Bell and Vince Clarke return to the synth-pop, highly dramatic, club-friendly style that they helped pioneer in the '80s and '90s, both the lyrics and the grooves are deeper these days, especially in ‘Sunday Girl’ and ‘Fly Away,’ which kind of sounds like The Supremes crossed with Depeche Mode. For Erasure fans who have strayed over the years, Light is the signal to come back home.”
“After all these years, this British synth-pop duo still can’t break those chains of love. And when it makes for pulsating cuts like ‘Sucker For Love’ and first single ‘I Could Fall In Love With You,’ why should they?”
“"…the result is at once up-to-date and classic…and then there's Andy Bell, whose blue-eyed soul is at its most sincere and whose lyrics couldn't be any more compelling or catchy. The group's as relevant as ever."
"…synth-pop auteurs Andy Bell and Vince Clarke, a.k.a. Erasure, return to form…music is as intoxicatingly catchy as ever."
"…[Erasure] still produces dependably catchy odes to a life that teeters between crisis and bliss…Bell sings with gusto about pleasure, pain and all the personal drama to be wrung from relationships."
“No one has a handle on pop hooks like Erasure does.”
"…with so many hooks and tight arrangements the album is one of the best 'go with what you know' arguments since AC/DC. While Erasure certainly didn't need the 'return to form' album at this point in their career, they nailed it and brought better songwriting along for the ride."
