Directed by Miles Forman, the “Ghetto Ambiance” video features a raw live performance showcasing HYRO and his band which is comprised of Daniel Anderson (guitar, Idiot Pilot), Paul Hinojos (bass, At The Drive-In/Sparta/The Mars Volta) and Blood Brothers' Cody Votolato (guitar) and Mark Gajadhar (drums). The underlining story of the video features a fight breaking out during a basketball game at the park court. HYRO DA HERO captivates letting his punk rock attitude shine in the video.

HYRO’s debut album BIRTH, SCHOOL, WORK, DEATH is due out April 4 via Stereo Bang Media. The Houston-bred Los Angeles-based MC blends hip-hop with the sonic fury of rock as he takes aim at greed, racism, celebrity culture and technological dehumanization (“I’m that fear in your circuitry/Technology cannot control me”).  He is a fresh voice–a rapper inspired by the likes of The Clash, Bad Brains and Fishbone. BIRTH, SCHOOL, WORK, DEATH was produced by Ross Robinson, the man behind the iconic debut albums by Slipknot and At the Drive-in.
