SAN FRANCISCO DATE ADDED TO WEST COAST DJ TOUR
ALBUM #1 MOST ADDED ON CMJ’S RPM CHART
SECRET STEALTH–who is the Nottingham, U.K.-based duo of Jim Baron (Fug, Waxploitation and Fram) and Bob Sadler (Crazy P) released last week (Tuesday, August 7) their debut album HOOKED ON YOU (Kosmica Music) which is currently peaking at #13 on CMJ’s RPM Chart. It was the #1 most added on the chart upon its debut at #28 the previous week. Over 10 key stations are currently charting the album including heralded tastemaker outlet KCRW in Los Angeles. Airplay has been supported by hot new remixes of tracks from Hooked On You by Fred Everything, Blakkat, The Idjut Boys, Apendics Shuffle and Tony Senghore, all to be released on vinyl only via Shaboom America/Kosmica this summer.
In addition, Secret Stealth will arrive stateside next week to kick off their west coast DJ tour to promote Hooked On You. Dates for the tour–helmed by Secret Stealth’s Bob Sadler who will be joined by Bent’s Holly Backler, the vocalist on Stealth tracks “Drive Me Crazy” and BBC Radio London pick “Dream Of You”—encompass seven special engagements in the Los Angeles area, plus a newly announced date at the Beauty Bar in San Francisco August 24. While in America, Secret Stealth will complete a video for “Dream Of You.”
