KASKADE Debuts #5 on iTunes Overall Album Chart with “Dynasty”/National Tour Launches Today

For KASKADE, with his unique sound comes an equally unique situation.   This week, the West Coast DJ and producer made an impressive debut with his new album DYNASTY (Ultra Records) at #5 on the iTunes Overall Album chart.   Bullet for My Valentine's Fever topped the list, followed by the "Glee" Madonna album, the Punk Goes Classic Rock compilation, Melissa Etheridge's Fearless Love and then KASKADE’s Dynasty ranking his work in incredible company, especially for a dance album.

Dynasty highlights KASKADE’s stellar production amongst an assortment of collaborations including the first single "Dynasty," smoothed out by the vocals of Haley, known to his fans as the ethereal singer of "I Remember" and "Move For Me."  There’s also the track “Only You” which features production work from none other than trance icon Tiësto. KASKADE also teams up with Dragonette’s Martina on “Fire In Your New Shoes" to deliver a rock-riffed, downtown cool, electro-pop sound sure to resonate all summer with the big city set.  

Meanwhile, KASKADE launches his national Dynasty album tour today in Boston and beginning Memorial Day Weekend, he will also commence his weekly summer residency at the Encore Beach Club at Wynn Las Vegas. The multi-million dollar, 60,000 square-foot facility is the standard of poolside luxury, and KASKADE will be there to set the soundtrack to what will surely be the biggest pool party of summer 2010.    He will also be a featured performer at the massive Electric Daisy Carnival festival in Los Angeles at the end of June.

What can fans expect at KASKADE’s shows?  Wrote Dennis Romero from LAWEEKLY.COM (4/18/10) of his recent Coachella performance, “In the tent Saturday his performance was electrifying even to casual observers of dance music. Ravers bobbed as a cavalcade of white beach balls of different sizes descended on the flock. Kaskade rinsed buzzing, electro-tinged grooves that, while sublime, maintained the edge and anticipation necessary to keep such a large boat afloat…it was hard not to catch Kaskade's momentous, synapse-activating contagion.”
