With their GREATEST HITS VOL. 1 debuting at #4 on the album chart, KORN will return to the road November 10. Their itinerary is a mix of radio shows and headline appearances–the majority of which feature a five-band bill with Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, Skindred and Instruction. “We want to give fans a lot of great music–and the chance to see all these bands in one night for a reasonable ticket price,” said KORN’s JONATHAN DAVIS.
KORN’s set list will include the current radio hit “Word Up,” their interpretation of the ’80s Cameo funk classic. The band performed the song, along with their classic “Freak On A Leash,” October 4 on the outdoor stage of the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, marking their network television performance debut.
KORN followed this the next day with a live concert in the parking lot of the Best Buy store in Fullerton. After performing for a crowd of 3500, KORN went on to sign autographs for more than fours hours in order to accommodate all the fans who showed up. As lead singer JONATHAN DAVIS reflected to the faithful throng, “We’re happy to be back in Fullerton–I remember playing here at Club 369 ten years ago!” The 45-minute set included many of the KORN classics from the greatest hits set including “Got The Life,” “Y’All Want A Single” and “Falling Away From Me,” plus their interpretation of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick In The Wall,” also from the new album.
As they did at their Best Buy appearance, KORN–JONATHAN, MUNKY, HEAD, FIELDY and DAVID–performed a concert at the Jimmy Kimmel Live show after taping the two songs. Saluting all their fans who turned out, KORN slammed into an array of their hits, working the crowd into a frenzy and thanking everyone for their incredible support which has been central to the band's rise to the top of the rock world.
