KORN AND ROB ZOMBIE
TRANSCEND THE WEIRDNESS TO LAUNCH
MAJOR ARENA TREK FEBRUARY 25
Stranger things have happened.
A few months ago, it was reported that KORN and ROB ZOMBIE didn't see eye to eye about "The Family Values" tour. It was announced that ZOMBIE was unable to participate in the tour with KORN; a controversy flared and words were exchanged by their representatives.
Now, both artists have revealed they will put that weirdness behind them to join forces for a monster rock tour. Set to roll out February 25 and lasting through April 11, the trek will hit arenas across America. Also on the bill: Videodrone, who will release their debut album on KORN's Elementree Records, distributed by Reprise, this spring. The album, featuring the group's intense, funky rock, was produced by KORN bassist FIELDY.
The aforementioned weirdness erupted when the managers and agents for both KORN and ROB ZOMBIE began to argue back and forth during the final negotiations for "The Family Values" tour, resulting in miscommunication and even more arguments until talks finally broke down. But about a month or so ago, the representatives for both artists began to talk again–this time on friendly terms. Realizing that this isn't a border dispute between two nations, but rock and roll, they established a common goal: to do what's best for both bands and give the fans what they want. Judging by the outpouring of messages received on both artists' websites, it's clear that the fans want to see KORN and ROB ZOMBIE tour together.
Says KORN drummer DAVID: "There's no bad blood between us and ROB. We know that the two of us can create one of the best rock shows ever–so it's on!"
Says ROB ZOMBIE: "The wait is over. ZOMBIE and KORN will definitely be the most hard-core explosive tour of the year."
Stay tuned for tour dates.
