TO KICK OFF FAMILY VALUES TOUR
KORN fans look out. The Grammy Award-winning band is getting ready to mix things up again next week with their first-ever televised acoustic performance on ABC-TV’S “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
The band made their in-studio national performance television debut just last year (“Saturday Night Live”) and for this appearance, they’ll perform “Coming Undone” and “Twisted Transistor” on Tuesday, July 18. This special performance will feature new acoustic arrangements of these tracks from the band’s platinum SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE CD (Virgin).
This television performance is in advance of this summer’s THE FAMILY VALUES TOUR. The 30-date trek is being headlined by founders KORN–JONATHAN DAVIS (vocals), JAMES “MUNKY” SHAFFER (guitar), FIELDY (bass) and DAVID SILVERIA (drums). This year’s shows will be a full-day affair with main stage headliners KORN (who will for the first time ever add an acoustic song within their set), Deftones, Stone Sour, Flyleaf and Dir en grey along with second stage acts 10 Years, Bury Your Dead, Deadsy and Bullets and Octane. Aside from the addition of the second stage, the touring rock festival will include a 3-on-3 paintball competition for fans, batting cages, pitching cages and other activities will be featured on all stops of the tour plus special attractions TBA in each market.
