Tonight, Thursday, September 5 at the Austin Music Hall in Austin, TX, KREWELLA will launch their GET WET LIVE tour in support of their debut album GET WET (Columbia Records) due out September 24. It will travel to over 50 venues across North America. A Halloween show at Pier 94 in New York City on October 31 with Gareth Emery has been added, while shows including Houston, Los Angeles and Vancouver are now sold out.
The explosive live show features live vocals by KREWELLA’s Jahan and Yasmine and a brand-new super structure called THE VOLCANO. For their unique live set, Vello Virkhaus and Amanda Hamilton of V Squared Labs have collaborated with fabricator and technical engineer Stefano Novelli to bring the vision of “reflection mapping” from pencil sketches and creative reference into an architectural reality. THE VOLCANO superstructure is a 30ft. x 18ft. innovative masterpiece encompassing reflection mapped crystal structures.

Over the past year, Chicago’s breakout trio KREWELLA (sisters/vocalists/lyricists Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf along with producer Kris “Rain Man” Trindl) have been enamoring radio listeners and dance floor enthusiasts across the country with their gold-certified, Top 10 hit “Alive” and club staple “Killing It” from their Play Hard EP. These songs, plus their most recent single, the Top 40 track “Live For The Night” –along with “Come And Get It” and “Dancing With the Devil” featuring Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump and Travis Barker of Blink 182–will also appear on GET WET. In addition, KREWELLA have launched their “GET WET WEDNESDAYS” initiative. Now in its second week, every Wednesday leading up to the release of GET WET, fans can unlock a new track for a free download from the trio. Last week, they unveiled the new song “Party Monster” which they’ll perform on tour. For “GET WET WEDNESDAYS’ #2 yesterday (September 4) they launched an acoustic cover of Pendulum’s “Watercolour.” Keep an eye on KREWELLA’s social media channels next Wednesday, September 11 for what comes next.
