Coming off their sold-out European tour, LYNYRD SKYNYRD will celebrate Independence Day weekend by kicking off the U.S. leg of their Jim Beam-sponsored worldwide “VICIOUS CYCLE TOUR” and performing their soaringly melodic and gutsy patriotic song “Red White and Blue” on “Regis & Kelly” Monday, July 7. Later that day, the band will perform the song–their biggest hit in 25 years–on “Last Call with Carson Daly,” which will air the week of July 14 (date TBA). The band will resume their headlining dates—in support of VICIOUS CYCLE (Sanctuary Records)–through July 13, before joining forces with Sammy Hagar to co-headline the “Party Of A Lifetime” Tour, starting July 19 in Wisconsin. The venerable rock ‘n roll acts will visit amphitheaters, festivals and arenas through mid-August, flip-flopping closing duties across the U.S.
