Singer, songwriter, musician, and poet HOLLAND GRECO, the first original artist signed this century to Zappa Records, the label headed by Gail Zappa, will perform at SXSW at 8 PM on Tuesday, March 11 at Empire Control Room & Garage along with Vintage Trouble and MS MR. GRECO’s upcoming debut album, VOLUME 1, due out this spring, features two distinct parts. The multi-faceted GRECO–keyboards, rhythm guitar, banjo, accordion AND ukulele–embodies an eclectic musical palette that is in full effect on the album which showcases her double vision in the two halves of VOLUME 1: the light and dark sides of her personality, expressed in the high-pitched sing-song falsetto of Tunnel Vision and the deeper, smoke-filled vocals in the gothabilly of Murdergram: Songs Of The Misfits.

Blues and classic rock n roll embodied singer, songwriter and guitarist JARED JAMES NICHOLS is a very welcome addition to the new wave of classic rock & R&B influenced acts like Gary Clark Jr., Vintage Trouble, Rival Sons and The Stone Foxes with a work ethic and charisma that is virtually unmatched. This past summer JARED sprung onto the scene with his first studio EP OLD GLORY & THE WILD REVIVAL out on Swing House Quality Recordings and produced by Warren Huart (Aerosmith, The Fray). Now Jared has announced he’ll return to the road for the second leg of his “THE WILD REVIVAL TOUR.” The emerging performer is confirmed for a round of more than 45 dates starting March 7 in Prescott, AZ with stops in Austin during SXSW, Nashville and New York at the famed Brooklyn Bowl. Then he will head across the Atlantic for his first ever performances in Europe and the U.K.
JARED gets down to the nitty-gritty with songs that hit close to home, touching on the timeless blues aesthetic in every way possible while still managing to put his own thoughtful twist on it. He keeps that sound pumping, turning any room into an instant party, eliciting stunned looks for his mesmerizing guitar licks.

Reggae-influenced rock band IRATION has crisscrossed the country, performing at several prominent music festivals and sold out shows, including headlining theater and amphitheatre tours. Last year represented a period of growth for the band–Micah Pueschel (Guitar/Vocals), Joe Dickens (Drums), Adam Taylor (Bass) and Cayson Peterson (Keyboards)–with their career elevating to a new level. Armed with their third full-length album AUTOMATIC, their most successful release to date, IRATION further pushed their musical boundaries, with an emphasis on the craft of songwriting, while staying true to the sound their fans love. The band collaborated with Cage The Elephant guitarist Lincoln Parish who is featured on several tracks and helped co-produce select songs on the album along with long-time studio partner JP Hesser of Castaway 7 Studios in Ventura, CA. Upon release, AUTOMATIC immediately shot all the way up to the #1 spot on both the Billboard and iTunes Reggae Albums charts, as well as #7 on the iTunes Overall Albums chart, #75 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and #17 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart. The album’s first official single “Back Around” enjoyed much radio success nationwide, reaching #1 on most stations’ playlists where it was added, including spending several weeks at #1 for San Diego’s 91X. IRATION recently shipped their new single to radio, the title track from the album, “Automatic.” The band solicited multiple Grammy Award-nominated engineer/mixer/producer Mark Needham (Imagine Dragons, Killers, Neon Trees, Walk the Moon, etc) to remix the song, which has already started receiving spins.

Acclaimed singer/songwriter BRIGITTE DeMEYER shares a new batch of stories–inspired by the inimitable spirit of the South–with the release her new album SAVANNAH ROAD, out Tuesday, April 29 on indie label BDM Music, with distribution by The Royal Potato Family/RED Distribution. SAVANNAH ROAD is raw, stripped down and the lyrics read like a novel about life, love, yearning and mystery. BRIGITTE recorded the majority of the album in her own home studio and, for the first time in her career, she self-produced the collection as well. She collaborated with longtime friend and previous producer Brady Blade, frequent collaborator and songwriting partner Will Kimbrough and acclaimed engineer David Z (Prince, Etta James, Johnny Lang).
