During EDC Week, catch Canadian electronic music production and DJ duo ADVENTURE CLUB at Electric Daisy Carnival on Friday, June 19 or at their Vegas club residency at Drai’s Beach Club during the day on Friday, June 20. For their newest single “Crash 2.0,” the teamed up with Los Angeles DJ/producer DallasK for a unique take on their song “Crash” from their debut EP Calling All Heroes. The Adventure Club vs DallasK track interweaves the original version of “Crash,” keeping its mesmerizing hook and vocal by Chloe Angelides with DallasK’s “Alienz” into an epic production. Alongside its release, a special version of “Crash 2.0” is featured in Electric Daisy Carnival’s festival trailer and has been named the official anthem of EDC Las Vegas 2015. SFX Entertainment company BEATPORT, the world’s leading online provider of music, tools and resources customized for the unique needs and demands of DJs comes to EDMbiz via its Executive Creative Director CLARK WARNER who will serve as panel moderator for Radioactive: Listening Trends in a Changing Media Landscape. Here he will guide the discussion between some of the top execs in radio promotions. Clark Warner oversees the Beatport brand and voice. He joined the company in 2007 as Label Manager, and has since held such roles as Director of Content and VP of Music Services before assuming his current role in March of 2012. Under his watch, Beatport has become the world’s most recognizable non-artist dance music brand. Warner’s passion for dance music stems from a 20-year career as an active DJ in clubs worldwide, from Berlin to Ibiza, and Los Angeles to Miami. He has had residencies at various venues in Detroit and New York, and performed at such festivals as DEMF/Movement, Sónar, and MUTEK. He was instrumental in developing dance labels Minus and Plus 8 Records with longtime collaborator Richie Hawtin, and has worked as a tour manager and event producer with Art of Dance Records, Made in Detroit, and The Final Cut. A native of Detroit, Warner fell in love with music listening to the city’s late night radio programs, and later co-produced the Focus:Electronic monthly radio segment on WDET-FM for five years. A sought after expert on dance music and DJ culture, Warner is a regular speaker at the Winter Music Conference, Amsterdam Dance Event, International Music Summit in Ibiza and Red Bull Music Academy. Available in more than 230 countries, BEATPORT’s flagship digital music service features high-definition dance tracks-from the latest exclusives to deep catalogue cuts-by the world’s top and emerging artists. As a result, BEATPORT’s sales charts serve as the industry barometer for what tracks are currently jumping in the clubs before crossing over into the mainstream. The Beatport platform also offers tools to help DJs manage their careers, promote their productions and performances, and connect with the largest community of qualified fans on the planet. Founded in 2004, Beatport is based in Denver, CO, with offices in Los Angeles, Berlin and Tokyo. In March 2013, Beatport became part of the SFX network of companies focused on electronic music culture.

In an era where unexpected ingredients thrive, MAKO offers a truly unique experience. Before an introduction was made, the two budding artists, Logan Light and Alex Seaver, spent their early life progressing musically in radically different worlds. Alex attended The Juilliard School on full scholarship as musician and played with some of the world’s elite classical artists in the most storied of venues. Meanwhile, Logan was quietly mastering the art of DJing and within only a few years, began opening for some of dance music’s biggest international acts, including Tiesto and Avicii, and major appearances, including Lollapalooza. The group’s first release “Beam” quickly circulated on blogs and YouTube, logging more than 2.5 million views to date. The track was featured on SiriusXM’s Beta Test Tuesday which then prompted them to proclaimMAKO is “the next big thing.” Since then, MAKO has found themselves in studio with some of dance music’s top artists: Avicii, Sander Van Doorn, R3hab, DubVision, Heather Bright, Le Castle Vania and many others. They recently released their new track “I Won’t Let You Walk Away” with Island Records recording artist Madison Beer (https://youtu.be/TmEOX2kCSzw).
