MSO PR has announced, via the company’s President Mitch Schneider, the immediate promotions of ANGELA VILLANUEVA to Account Executive and AARON FETERL to national Publicist.
“It always gives me great pleasure to announce company promotions because it means that folks at MSO have worked hard–and really killed it–to earn a new title,” says Schneider. “I’m especially proud to announce the promotions of Angela and Aaron together. They have consistently stayed on track–and handled the crazy curves of music PR expertly. It’s been real exciting to watch them grow and prosper,” adds Schneider, “and they both have a lot of fans out there in the media and industry.”
VILLANUEVA began at MSO in 2006 as executive assistant to Senior Vice President Todd Brodginski and Vice President Libby Coffey. As a result of her hard work and dedication to clients, Angela steadily climbed her way up to Associate Publicist in August 2008 and Publicist in October 2010. She has worked on a variety of projects in all genres including country (Wynonna Judd, Jo Dee Messina, Lonestar, Blackberry Smoke), pop (Andy Grammer, Outasight, Chris Wallace, Tino Coury), rock (Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, Dir En Grey, Scorpions), dance/EDM (Black Boots, Kerli, Taryn Manning, Palenke Soultribe), singer/songwriter (Bob Schneider, Susanna Hoffs, Brooke White, The Rescues), tours and festivals (Vans Warped Tour, Stagecoach: California’s Country Music Festival, Sunset Strip Music Festival, Carnival of Madness, Ozzfest) and various lifestyle campaigns (Sunset Strip Business Association, Lucent Dossier, Club Nokia, Cheech & Chong film premiere, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s All For The Hall fundraising events) and many more.
A San Diego State University graduate with a degree in Communications, emphasis in Public Relations, VILLANUEVA has been around the music business all her life. She looks forward to continuing to learn and grow at MSO, helping to further promote both undiscovered talent and legends in the business.
FETERL began at MSO in 2008 as an intern in his last semester in college and was asked to join the team upon graduation. He’s served under Senior Vice Presidents Marcee Rondan and Todd Brodginski as well as beginning as an assistant to Angela Villanueva before being promoted to Associate Publicist in February 2011. Aaron has been involved in media campaigns for various artists in multiple genres including rock (Aerosmith, Allman Brothers Band, Korn, Ted Nugent, Rival Sons, Dream Theater, Lou Gramm, America, Yes, Heaven & Earth, Dir En Grey and The Pretty Reckless, among others), along with festivals (Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, Budweiser Made In America Festival, Stagecoach: California’s Country Music Festival and Sunset Strip Music Festival) and lifestyle accounts (Club Nokia, Lucha VaVOOM, Raiding The Rock Vault, One Night With Janis Joplin and Light Nightclub).
