As 2004 nears, America’s longest-running touring festival–THE VANS WARPED TOUR–is beginning to take shape. New additions to the tour include Bad Religion, Thursday, Anti-Flag, The Bouncing Souls, Flogging Molly, The Casualties, Rise Against and Yellowcard. These acts now join confirmed artists New Found Glory, Taking Back Sunday and Coheed and Cambria.
2004 marks the 10th anniversary of the VANS WARPED TOUR. This year, the tour will culminate with a once-in-a-lifetime 10-year reunion show August 20 in Boston. Tour founder Kevin Lyman notes, “We’ve invited many bands from past tours to perform. We’ve had a lot of interest and will have confirmations in the coming months.” Over the last decade, the tour has helped break many up-and-coming bands, many of which are sure to return for the reunion show in Boston.
