PAPA ROACH
TO RELEASE DVD/HOME VIDEO THIS FALL;
BAND ASKS FANS TO CONTRIBUTE;
NEW ALBUM DUE NEXT SPRING
PAPA ROACH plan to release their first DVD/home video this fall which will serve as a companion piece to their triple-platinum INFEST (DreamWorks) CD as well as a documentation of the past two whirlwind years. The DVD/home video will feature an inside look into the world of PAPA ROACH, with live and behind-the-scenes footage as well as various TV appearances and the videos for “Last Resort,” “Broken Home” and “Between Angels and Insects.” In addition, PAPA ROACH—COBY DICK (vocals), JERRY HORTON (guitar), TOBIN ESPERANCE (bass) and DAVID BUCKNER (drums)–are inviting fans to contribute to the making of this compilation by submitting their own personal VHS video footage. This could vary from shots of themselves at a P-ROACH concert, to candid backstage moments, live bootlegs of shows or a video of themselves expressing what PAPA ROACH means to them. Submissions should be no longer than 10 minutes in length and be of good quality for reproduction. Fans can send the video–with the following information: full name and address, phone number with area code, e-mail address (if they have one) and their age–to the following address. The deadline for entries is August 15.

Videos submitted automatically become the property of PAPA ROACH, thus granting them permission to use the footage in the home video. Details are also posted on the band’s official website, which is found at www.paparoach.com.
Meanwhile, PAPA ROACH are utilizing the downtime on the in-progress Ozzfest tour to write new songs for their forthcoming album. “The next record will definitely be just as powerful,” said DICK in The Tennessean (July 6, 2001). “I’m still dealing with a lot of the issues that I’m writing about now…Me, as a person, I’m never going to be content with the world that I live in. I’m uncovering more and more things that I’m finding within myself. If I do become content then my music is not going to have a point. Discontent is what has always pushed me.” The band expects to enter the studio to begin recording at the end of this year with a proposed release date in the spring.
