STAIND CANCEL VISIT TO TORONTO
DUE TO NEW SARS OUTBREAKS
Amidst warnings from the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, STAIND will not be visiting Toronto this week as part of the promotional activities for their 14 SHADES OF GREY album. The band–singer AARON LEWIS, guitarist MIKE MUSHOK, bassist JOHNNY APRIL and drummer JON WYSOCKI–were scheduled to visit the Canadian city for an in-store and concert. A decision was made to not have the band and their crew travel to Toronto after it was learned that the World Health Organization returned Toronto to the list of cities where new outbreaks of the disease were detected and a new health alert was issued by the U.S.-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advising travelers of a health concern in the city. STAIND will reschedule the show in the coming months and send their best to their fans and the people of Toronto.
