SWINGIN’ AT THE BOWL: Lindsey Buckingham, Jenna Elfman, Phil Everly, Edward Norton, Kevin Spacey and George Thorogood were among the 18,000 fans who turned out to see TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS‘ sold-out show at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday (October 16). The concert marked PETTY‘s third performance at the historic venue through the years; it was also the triumphant conclusion to their hugely successful tour in connection with their ECHOalbum, which features the songs “Free Girl Now,” “Room At The Top,” and “Swingin'” which PETTY dedicated onstage to “all the bad girls in Hollywood” (sparking a huge roar from the crowd). Next up for TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS: the November 9 release of HIGH GRASS DOGS* LIVE FROM THE FILLMORE on home video and DVD. It was filmed earlier this year at the landmark San Francisco venue where the band performed seven sold-out critically acclaimed shows.
