SHOWS SET FOR
NEW YORK AND LOS ANGELES IN THE FALL
Expect the definitive, ultimate rock n' roll experience when JIMMY PAGE and THE BLACK CROWES join forces–together live–for four special concerts: two in New York City (Roseland, October 12 and 13) and another pair in Los Angeles (the Greek Theatre, October 18 and 19).
Billed as "A Rock N' Roll Evening," the shows will feature both artists performing the best of Led Zeppelin and The Black Crowes as well as an assortment of their favorite rhythm and blues songs.
Tickets for the NYC gigs go on sale Friday, September 10, while tickets for the Los Angeles shows will be available Sunday, September 12. Management for both artists are taking steps to combat any ticket scalping.
The upcoming U.S. shows by Jimmy Page and The Black Crowes were inspired by the roof-raising full set they performed on June 27 at the 400-capacity Cafe du Paris in London. In addition to those lucky enough to be inside the club, thousands of fans crowded outside the venue to catch an earful of the excitement happening inside.
Described by observants as "magical and intense," the show included such songs as "Whole Lotta Love" (Led Zeppelin), "Hard To Handle" (The Black Crowes), "Woke Up This Morning" (B.B. King), "In My Time Of Dying" (Led Zeppelin), "Shake Your Money Maker" (The Black Crowes), and "Oh Well" (Peter Green-era Fleetwood Mac).
