THE BLACK CROWES RELEASE COLUMBIA RECORDS DEBUT AND SHO’NUFF BOXED SET

THE BLACK CROWES will now release their Columbia Records debut album BY YOUR SIDE on November 17. Because of their decision to immediately head out on the concert trail in mid-June after recording the basic tracks, the band missed a couple of key deadlines while putting the finishing touches on the album, which is being produced by Kevin Shirley (Aerosmith's Nine Lives). Look for a single in October to launch the album, which feverishly marks their return to the rock n' roll nest.

Meanwhile, in the midst of the band's in-progress, bringing-down-the-house sold-out "Sho' Nuff" tour of very intimate venues, THE BLACK CROWES will release the special SHO' NUFF boxed set on August 11. It's a limited edition deluxe boxed set containing all four albums by THE BLACK CROWES, each one digitally remastered. Under the band's supervision, each original album has been expanded and enhanced as follows:

There are two bonus tracks not previously available on these releases. These tracks are from each album's original recording sessions.

Each album's CD-Extra multi media portion includes:
–full-length videos never before commercially available
–brand new screensavers–one for each album
–a link to THE BLACK CROWES' own website at tallest.com

The SHO' NUFF box set also includes a very special bonus live EP, featuring five unreleased songs from 1995 at New York's Beacon Theatre, mixed by Kevin Shirley. The EP is only available in this boxed set.
